Sunderdhunga Glacier Trek
Sunderdhunga Glacier Trek
The
Literal meaning of the word Sunderdhunga is "Valley of beautiful
stones", but we assure you that that's not all that is there
to it. The trek is a little more rigorous than its better known
"cousin's" Pindari and Kafni and at times you would wonder
why did you embark on this trip. But once you reach the top you
will have all the answers, not for no reason is this valley called
Sunderdhunga!
The trip also offers brilliant glimpses of the
Tharkot (6100 M), Mrigthuni (6856 M), Maiktoli (6804 M) and Pawali
Dwar (6663 metres) peaks apart from the Maikatoli & Sukhram
Glaciers that are a bounty to outdoor enthusiasts.
