A
challenging trek by any standards, this trek offers a great
deal of variety in terms of locales from the lush greenery
of the Kullu valley to barren Parbati valley. As one goes
into the Kullu Valley through Chandrakhani pass the terrain
of thick forests, green meadows and wild flowers greets you.
The Pin Parbati Pass stands tall with its fluttering prayer
flags and Cairns. The view from the pass is contrasting with
the snow clad peaks of Kullu valley on one side and the stark
barrenness of the Spiti Mountains on the other. Once into
Spiti experience the difference of two cultures, traditions
and completely different landscapes. The glory of this tough
trek is like the glory of the mountains it self: Tough, strong
and resilient, all the qualities that would be needed to finish
this trip.
