This trek provides you with one
of the rarest views of the entire range of Yam unotri , Gangotri,
Kedarnath and Badrinath peaks. In the process you pass through
the seven bugyals (high altitude meadows) of Panwali Kantha,
where if you are lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the blue
mountain goat. This trek is part of the ancient pilgrims trail
from Gangotri to Kedarnath, in the tradition of Vamavrata Yatra
that began from Yamunotri and ended at Badrinath, after paying
respect at the Gangotri and Kedarnath shrines.
