‘Speed’
is a concept that has always captured human interest. F1, Motorbike
Grand Prix has endowed the greatest thrill, since the first
motor vehicle evolved. Mountain Biking first came into picture
when a group of enthusiasts did some off road biking in USA,
in the 1970s. It has caught up with the speed rage, ever since.
What does it offer? Beauty of the Himalayas comes in a package
of flora, fauna, green and barren hills, and the thrill to ride
from one point to another, in the soft chill of the mountains.
A steady biking through the mountainous roads can be a pleasure
with the landscape changing every second. One covers more ground
as compared to walking, in the same span of time. A mountain
biker cuts through the breeze, the fresh air that carries cure
for ailments. As he rides faster, he breathes more air, letting
the cells in his entire body absorb all the curing nutrients.
No wonder the British took frequent breaks in the hills. |

The easy trails that GIO Adventures offers are for anybody and
everybody whether they be children or adults. The primary motive
is to introduce first timers to enjoy the beauty of biking in
the Himalayas by this non-traditional mode of transport. You
can indulge in this activity with any our camps as your base.
For support, we provide light and heavy duty mountain bikes
and drop off a group at the start of a trail. From here our
expert instructors take over and take you through the various
trails available. At the end of the trail, we would have the
vehicles waiting to take you back to the camp. You can add-on
this activity to any adventure package that is offered and therefore
combine it with other exciting activities like white-water rafting,
kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, rappelling etc. |
For bikers who are more serious and would like to take it to
the next level, GIO Adventures offers moderate and difficult
trails. For amateurs who are serious about mountain biking,
we offer technical training to equip them with skills for a
difficult course. For professionals, we have the trails at their
disposal !!!
We do tour biking over the Himalayas spreading over a few days.
We customize the spread to your needs and chalk out a route
that best fits the client’s needs. As always we take care
of all lodging and dietary needs and all the support that one
needs on a trip of this kind. |
