DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY

DAY 1

HARIDWAR - HARSIL (2745 M / 9000 ft)

DAY 1	:	HARIDWAR - HARSIL (2745 M / 9000 ft)
We will drive 245 km to the beautiful village of Harsil. Overnight in tents.

DAY 2	:	HARSIL - GANGOTRI (3048 M / 10000 ft) - BHOJWASSA (3792 M / 12440 ft)
Early morning drive for about hour to reach Gangotri (20 km). We visit the temple at Gangotri and from here set out on our trek towards Bhojbasa. This trek of 14 km will take us about 5-6 hrs. Overnight in tents.

DAY 3	:	BHOJWASSA - GAUMUKH (3890 M) - TAPOVAN (4463 M / 14640 ft)
After an early breakfast we start on our hike to Tapovan via Gaumukh. Today's trek is of 10 km and will take us about 6-7 hrs, moving at a leisurely pace. Overnight in tents.

DAY 4	:	TAPOVAN (4463 M / 14640 ft)
Like we always say.' Do your own thing' today. Explore the meadows of Tapovan, attempt a short climb or just chill out, soaking in the beauty of this truly amazing landscape. Overnight in tents.

DAY 5	:	TAPOVAN - CHIRBASSA ( 3606 M / 11828 ft)
Retrace your steps to Chirbasa (15 km / 4-5 hrs). Overnight in tents.

DAY 6	:	CHIRBASSA - GANGOTRI - HARSIL
We will trek down to Gangotri for a couple of hours and from here drive down to Harsil. Evening at leisure. Overnight in tents

DAY 7	:	HARSIL - HARIDWAR
Early morning drive 245 km to reach Haridwar.

Cost Includes

All road transfers by a Toyota Qualis/Tavera from and back to Rishikesh

•

Accommodation: Tourist rest house in Gangotri (two Deluxe rooms).
While on the trek accommodation will be provided in tents on double sharing and single basis. Our tents are 4 season dome tents (Lafuma) with lots of space for personal luggage. We will be putting up a dining tent and a toilet tent to make your camping comfortable.

-	3/4 season Mountain Hardwear (www.mountainhardwear.com) or Lafuma (*www.lafuma.com*) alpine tents
-	Camping Mattresses
-	Camping stools
-	Mess Tent

-	Basic Medical kit

Meals: All meals beginning with lunch on day 1 till lunch on Day 8.

Professional and experienced trekking guide. Our guides speak fluent Hindi/English and are trained mountaineers from Nehru Institute of Mountaineering. They know the route and the terrain very well.

•

Cook, porters, and mules will carry all the camping equipment and rations along with one bag of each client (not to weigh more than 15 kgs).

•

We will arrange for all the permissions required

•

Camping and entry charges to be paid to the forest department

Cost Does Not Include

•	Accommodation at Rishikesh
•	Any meals / services not mentioned above
•	Liquor, soft drinks, beverages, etc.
•	Personal expenses like tips, telephone calls, laundry, etc.
•	Any costs arising out of unforeseen circumstances like landslides, road blocks, bad weather, etc.
