Camp Mystic River
Here
is a place that transports you into classic timelessness, set amidst
towering Pine and Deodar trees by the River Tons (For the uninitiated
Tons is the largest tributary of the Yamuna), Camp Mystic River
makes for a compelling getaway.
From watching the reflection of the sunrise in
the river to gazing at the star-studded sky in the night, the wonders
of this camp are boundless. The Legendary Har ki dun valley is but
a stones throw away. The drive through the valley is full of multi-coloured
flowers - nasturtiums with bright yellow and red flowers, primulas,
geraniums, white chrysanthemums, and wild roses of various hues,
junipers, cedar and birch forests which are among the best in the
entire Garhwal Himalayas.
Among the foremost attractions of Camp Mystic
River is its ability to provide you with that absolute chilled out
experience with not a care in the world. It provides you with opportunities
that are diverse and unusual; Ancient temples that have some astonishing
traditions, parts of the valley still worship Duryodhan. Architecture
that is unique with wooden houses that are multi storied and amazingly
multi-functional. A bevy of natural pools, with their pellucid waters
are ever beckoning.
For the white water enthusiast, the river is challenging
and exciting, fast and furious. Some of the rapids here are likely
to quench your thirst in more ways than one. The camp also forms
an ideal base for the Har ki dun trek. But that's not all, a 5 day
trek from the camp and you enter the Sangla Valley bringing you
the best of Garhwal and Himachal.
So as you can see....its all going be happening
