Kinner Camp
Kinner
camp could aptly be described as a bridge, the bridge that takes
you from mundane to sublime, from here to eternity. Far from Probing
eyes, tucked away in the Kinnaur Himalayas lies Kinner Camp, nestled
in the pristine Sangla Valley hidden in a seldom-visited corner
of the South Eastern part of Himachal Pradesh. Surrounded by Tibet
on the East, Garhwal to the South, Spiti in the North and Kullu
in the West this valley has bounties of nature abound that would
hold the visitor spellbound and leave a lasting impression on the
mind.
Also known as the Baspa Valley owing to the tumultuous
and turbulent river Baspa that flows through the valley. The gushing
of the river forms a rhythmic background to Sangla as does the benign
gaze of the Kinnaur Kailash range of the Himalayas. In fact Mount
Kailash, said to be the abode of the Hindu God Shiva, is not too
far away.
Location
Sangla, on the banks of the river Baspa famed
